Annual Presentation: Professor James Chapman L. Chapman Award for Excellence - NITV Federal Services | The manufacturer of the 'Computer Voice Stress Analyzer' - CVSA

The Seventh annual (2018) Professor James L. Chapman Award for Excellence was presented by the NACVSA to Retired Atlanta Police Department CVSA Examiner Clifford Payne at the 2019 AEC.   Following a long career with the Atlanta P.D., Cliff retired from the department in 2015.  Cliff conducted thousands of CVSA examinations, including both criminal and pre-employment examinations.  He is now the owner of Atlanta Truth Verification Specialist LLC, which provides CVSA-related services throughout the Southeast. Cliff has been a long-time supporter of the NITV FS Community and has generously contributed many to the NACVSA, to include teaching pre-employment techniques at the annual AEC, contributing his wise counsel to the profession, and conducts debriefings with law enforcement departments across the USA.  Cliff is one of the founders of the NACVSA, which he continues to serve and diligently supports.  Our congratulations are offered to Cliff Payne for a job well done! The Founder of NITV FS and developer of the CVSA, Dr. Charles Humble, presented Miami-Dade Police Det. Lisa Morales with the Founder’s Award.  The Founder’s Award is presented each year to a CVSA examiner that has dedicated his or her career to ensuring only the guilty are prosecuted and the innocent are absolved.  Det. Morales has been a CVSA examiner for 20 years and has distinguished herself with her dedication, integrity and determination.  Det. Morales’ tremendous success with the CVSA helped convince the US Military to deploy the CVSA to Guantanamo Bay to assist in interrogating terrorist suspects.  Subsequently, valuable actionable information was obtained from the detainees saving many American lives.
